Our Mission
To make community connection and wellbeing support accessible, practical, and stigma-free for everyone in Mid Essex — starting with Maldon.
We bring together events, services, and local support so people feel informed, connected, and less alone. We deliver calm, structured, outdoor wellbeing programmes for those who are coping but not thriving — before crisis, not in place of therapy.
Our Vision
A Mid Essex where no one feels isolated or unsure where to turn — where community connection is easy, wellbeing support is accessible, and everyone has a place to belong.
We envision thriving local communities where people look out for each other, where early support prevents crisis, and where calm, nature-based activities help people of all ages feel grounded and connected.
Currently focused on Maldon
While The Essex Hub CIC serves Mid Essex (including Chelmsford and Brentwood), we're currently concentrating our programmes and community work in Maldon. As we grow, we'll expand our reach across the region.
